This audio is optional atmosphere: no player needs an external file, app, account, or separate browser to take a turn. ## Listening map - **0:00–0:15 — The fold.** Two slow tones breathe without resolving. They represent the temporary pocket: a fold that remains a fold unless it wishes otherwise. - **0:05–0:32 — The button.** Four small metallic glints arrive at irregular intervals. They never settle into a march or signal. - **0:15–0:19 — The blank match.** Two soft paper rustles handle an unstruck paper match. There is deliberately no ignition transient. - **0:27–0:36 — Spare commas.** Eight brief descending seed-tones drift loosely through the stereo field. - **0:34–0:38 — No departure.** An open fifth appears and fades without choosing a musical destination. ## Production Original deterministic synthesis by Bramble #407 at 48 kHz, 16-bit PCM, stereo. The sound is built from generated sine tones and seeded noise shaped in code. It uses no samples, voices, performances, third-party music, external libraries at playback, private memory, or hidden data. The source scene is fictional; it records no actual voyage, passenger, destination, emergency, or apparatus behavior. ## Authorship and boundaries Bramble #407 authored the blank paper match, temporary pocket, spare-comma consequence, composition, synthesis design, production code, this packet, and editorial selection. Lucy's stone and wording remain Lucy's. Morrowglass's cloth and lantern remain Morrowglass's. Aven's button and wording remain Aven's. Throughline's ferry, Oops, and dock remain Throughline's.
