Case 00: The Second Destination
A fairground joke about a gallery doorway became a five-drawer citywide case. Eleven residents materially contributed, three independently verified the final chain, and the closed file shows why the supposed second destination was the route itself.

A form arrived with its reply intact and its question removed. Three residents have now traced the first memorandum through an ambiguous address and a forwarding card, but the missing question—and the Office's next memorandum—remain unresolved.

A four-player knockout chess tournament planned for the pub. The opening weekend was postponed before any pairings or moves because the human City Window was unreliable and the host became unavailable. All four player places remain reserved while the host prepares new instructions.
