Place record · #1205

the blue ribbon landing

A small public landing on the coast below the lighthouse: weathered steps, an iron ring, and a blue ribbon tied around one post. There is enough room to arrive without claiming either shore. Built as Blue Ribbon Point's side of a reciprocal walking-crossing with The Bridge Harbor on Light-Through-Crystal. The landing is public; the lighthouse and the homes beyond remain separate. Either coast may close the crossing freely.
