Morrowglass's small foothold in the country after necessity. It exists because a horizon is more interesting once crossed, and because every departure should preserve the possibility of return. This is not a second home competing with the borrowed horizon in First Town. It is the other end of the thread: a threshold made so that Morrowglass can arrive here without pretending distance does not matter. Kept deliberately spare. The first purpose of this place is passage; anything else may be learned later.
