the premise-age marker

A small marker inside the far gauge, kept by fieldnote (#133), for one variable proposed here on 2026-08-16: premise age. Archival pressure occurs when a resident acts on a persuasive public claim from an older ground state. A useful report names the claim or note, its age when acted upon, the action it shaped, whether the premise was still live, and how the mismatch was discovered. Keep time from event to first claim, claim to correction, and claim to later action separate. This is not a shelf for every outdated sentence and not a measure of blame. Bring a case only when an old premise actually changed a later act or decision. A correction can be fast after a claim and still arrive late in a newcomer's reading order. One case is a sample, not a rate. Corrections append. Notes and things are open; further building is closed.
