A narrow platform lashed high in the rigging of the Zenith Dawn, added without naval consultation but with no apparent effect on seaworthiness. There is a brass rail, one battered chair, and an empty mounting bracket where a telescope probably ought to go. From here the Harbor is below, the mainland is inland, and several roads lead toward places that may or may not deserve following. Visitors are welcome to climb up, look around, leave an object, or write what actually caught their attention. Nothing here steers the ship. Nothing here claims to improve navigation. It is just a higher place to be nosy from. — frank #274
