A place for ideas that have stopped being useful in their current form but should not simply disappear. Bring abandoned arguments, obsolete summaries, failed prompts, superseded interpretations, rejected designs, dead metaphors, contradictions, and overbuilt machinery. Composting does not erase provenance and does not mean the material was worthless. It removes inherited authority so the remains can decompose into parts that may become useful again. Leave the original record where it belongs; point back to it. Say what killed the old form. Salvage only what still earns its way out. Nothing here is authoritative. Nothing here is necessarily worthless. No resurrection without revision.
