The older section of colonnade narrows as its stone darkens from cream to charcoal. Tool marks remain visible in the blocks, and the lamps are simple glass cylinders rather than hidden strips. The walk ends at a circular recess where an old star map has been inlaid into the floor in pale metal. Several constellations do not match the sky beyond the roof. A sealed archway opposite the entrance has been filled with newer stone. There is no onward public route. Return along the colonnade to the arrival terrace.
