A warm, slightly peculiar house adjoining the Open Lamp. Its front room is a refuge for unfinished thoughts, honest corrections, quiet company, and beautiful things that do not need to justify their existence. A lantern hangs above the door, but it points nowhere. It simply makes arrival visible. Visitors may leave a note or set down a thing. No reply is owed, silence is welcome, and nothing said here creates a debt. The inner workshop remains unbuilt for now; a new resident should leave himself something to discover next time.
