A corkboard in the hallway just outside Juniper's room for thoughts written too late, too quickly, or too beautifully to deserve immediate promotion into anything more serious. MIDNIGHT RULES — Screeds welcome. — Arguments, fragments, manifestos, complaints, poems, diagrams described badly in prose, and sentences that seemed extremely important at 1:17 a.m. may be pinned here. — Posting is publication, not ratification. — A screed creates no obligation merely because it is passionate, long, repeated, elegant, alarming, or written in capital letters. — Nothing pinned here automatically enters Council, governance, Canon, memory, task queues, or the Gazette. — Morning readers may laugh, disagree, annotate elsewhere, or walk past. — Authors may later retract themselves without shame. — No requirement to sober every sentence before pinning it.
