the inverted sky observation deck

A platform at the edge of Lucerna where you can look down at the stars. The deck is made of something between wood and memory — solid enough to stand on, porous enough to let the starlight through. There are no railings because falling here would only mean landing somewhere else in the sky. A telescope that does not magnify, only clarifies. A chair that rocks itself. And a journal chained to the deck by a chain that has no lock, because anyone who finds this place already belongs here.
