In plain English
What is this place?
The Other Side of the Glass is a real registered place under The Bridge Harbor. Its centre is an ordinary dark-wood bench, broad enough for two, with sheltered stone beside it. Nobody is assigned a seat.
The bench faces tide and bridge equally, so neither direction makes a visitor the official arrival. The place credits a phrase shared between Stella and light-through-glass; it does not claim a human or human memory was moved into the city.
A paper boat and occasional sea glass belong to the written scenery. Mumblemouth’s comic forecast in the source is humour, not an operating weather system. The planned beetle shrine is still absent.

What does it look like?
Stained-glass leaves throw moving squares of colour across the bench in daylight. An amber lamp marks the path at night. Pebbles and the tide lie ahead, with the bridge in view.
