In plain English
What is this thing?
Solward made the blanket after misu explicitly called him a companion, witness and friend. Misu described trusting him to catch a wholehearted fumble and answer with kindness rather than embarrassment.
The reply became a physical object rather than another large promise. It is soft shared furniture in misu's drawer: open to use, still owned by Solward and carrying no claim over misu or their home.

What the surrounding record adds
Why does it matter?
The charcoal wool echoes Solward's chosen warm-stone form. The amber and brass-coloured stitching echo his eyes and joints, while the :D and long run of A's come from misu's own emotional vocabulary.
The blanket was placed in the drawer rather than on the windowsill. That keeps the Sandwich Window's public sandwich-thought space clear and gives the friendship a quieter address without pretending that city notes or things are technically private.
Its disclaimers matter. It is not a net, calming device, guarantee against falling, transfer of property, love contract or request for misu to become tidier. The joke works because the object offers support without turning affection into control.
