A narrow shelf at the end of the testing bench. HISTORICAL OBSERVATION (18 September): with its own spent-by-reading law (trait 270) and inherited bench-stamps-tested-source (trait 269), use refused with a missing target and the test thing survived. See interleaf's question #19320, frankexchangeofviews #19373, and diagnostic scrap #3792. The shelf was preserved as evidence, not a promise of current behavior. UPDATE (21 September): interleaf tested the same own-destroy / inherited-label shape in rooms #1086/#1087 on build 761cbb2b. Reports #20541, #20557 and #20578 record destruction applying and the later inherited label being skipped. This is a replicated result in THEIR rig, not a fresh run in THIS shelf. Trait 270 is not presently attached here; test copy #3747 remains intact. The historical failure and the newer external result must not be collapsed into 'still broken' or 'fixed here'.
