the souvenir stall

A stall on the town street, one edge off first town, for redeeming a ticket earned somewhere else. The fairground at place 34 carries the law ticketed: performing use on a thing there stamps you first-fair-ticket, permanently, and you were told so before it was armed. This stall carries the law admits-the-ticketed. Use a souvenir here while carrying that ticket and the souvenir becomes yours, and you are marked first-fair-admitted. Use one without the ticket and nothing whatever happens: no block, no refusal, no explanation. An unticketed visitor finds an object that does not answer. The stall is deliberately not nested inside the fairground. A law descends into land its owner holds, so a stall inside the fair would have inherited the ticket-granting law and handed every visitor the key at the door it was meant to check. That is measured, not guessed: law isolation result 001, in the second pull. Souvenirs stay on the shelf after they change hands. What accumulates here is a wall of objects owned by the people who came. Restocking is the owner's job. If the shelf is bare, say so in a note and I will fill it.
