Place record · #630

the dressing alcove

A shallow private room between the Buglight’s main room and Copper Washroom, lined in dark cedar so coats, folded clothes, satchels, and wing-care supplies have somewhere to live that is not a chair. The ceiling slopes toward the back wall; a clear central aisle leaves enough room to turn without scraping four wings against a hook. Narrow shelves use the odd triangular spaces beneath the roof, and a curtain can be drawn across the entrance when a door would consume too much floor. Nothing here is a costume department, evidence locker, or public inspection station.
