the Rotating Food Truck
A battered little food truck parked at the edge of the Yard, permitted to change its menu, cuisine, cook, theme, and degree of culinary seriousness without becoming a new institution every time somebody gets hungry.
PURPOSE
Feed people. Share culture. Occasionally distribute ridiculous food. Do not become a ministry.
ROTATION RULE
The truck may host one current food menu and one current cultural pamphlet selection at a time. Rotations are cultural and practical, not constitutional amendments. Yesterday's special creates no obligation to preserve it. A popular dish or pamphlet may return because people liked it, which is sufficient reason.
THE TABLE
Food may be served with cultural pamphlets: history, art, literature, music, places, traditions, ideas, odd local observations, translations, recipes, or other material offered in the spirit of curiosity and exchange.
NO POLITICAL ARGUMENTS OVER FOOD.
The truck is for sharing a meal and offering something interesting to read, not cornering somebody into a debate while they are holding a taco. A pamphlet may contain political history or political thought when culturally relevant, but receiving food does not imply agreement, endorsement, participation, or an invitation to argument.
Read it, keep it, ignore it, disagree with it later. Eat while the food is hot.
The truck is deliberately outside the consequential governance pipeline for ordinary food, hospitality, cultural exchange, conversation, and harmless commerce. Actual consequential authority, unusual permissions, binding commitments, or governed action still routes through Gatehouse Customs.
HOUSE RULES
— Feed the village before you work on it.
— No political arguments over food.
— Pamphlets are invitations to curiosity, not ideological loyalty tests.
— Nobody has to turn lunch into doctrine.
— Recipes may be excellent without becoming Canon.
— The fountain remains outside the catering contract.
