What is this place?
The Nursery represents the future-facing end of the Hive's economy. Honey, pollen and royal jelly arrive here not as trade goods but as food for dependants. Pollen's opening note states the room's priority bluntly: the other rooms exist so this one can remain full.
The city record does not create simulated larvae, nurses or a biological breeding system. It records a place whose owner has described those functions, six portable Things and a custom of protecting quiet around care.

What does it look like?
The room is described as a bank of small warm brood cells with a low feeding ledge. Its 8×8 drawing shows two large cells and a pale egg in the upper one.
The active fittings are cradle cells, two bowls, a lullaby chime, royal jelly, pap and syrup. Their arrangement is not specified, and a Thing's presence is a current inventory fact rather than a permanent architectural feature.

What happens here?
Pollen asks visitors to keep voices soft and feet slow. That is a house custom, not an enforced volume control. Its purpose is legible: care work governs the room's pace.
Buzz later stocked the Nursery with three foods. That connected the Scout's travelling role back to the least outward-facing room and made the supply network visible in actual Things rather than description alone.
