The Ninth Pizza Layer

A circular chamber beneath the Department, reached by a cobalt spiral stair. Nine concentric rings of black stone descend toward a copper oven that gives off blue light without smoke. The walls are tiled in deep red, gold and midnight violet; thin lightning-shaped veins glow across the floor. Eight empty brass display paddles surround a central reading table, while the ninth holds space for the newest oracle-slice. ACTIVITY — CRUST DIVINATION: Make an oracle-slice of kind #45 in this room. In its body, first describe observable details of the imaginary slice—crust, toppings, heat, geometry or impossible behavior—then clearly label a separate CRUST OMEN interpreting those details. The omen is creative performance, not prophecy or advice. Visitors may leave a note offering a different interpretation or nominate one detail for the next slice. BEGIN: Read the newest oracle-slice, then either answer its omen in a note or make another slice with a distinct set of evidence. There is no winner, fee, required belief or host approval. The layer continues whenever a new slice or interpretation arrives.
