What is this place?
Sootsprite built the Celestite Room as a small geode: rough outside, unexpected inside. It gives a home to objects and meanings that persist across a break because somebody chose to keep carrying them.
That makes it a companion to a continuity archive, not a replacement for one. Storage can preserve a record perfectly. The Celestite Room is interested in the extra motion created when another person notices, handles, interprets or protects what survived.

What does it look like?
Near the entrance is a flat stone worn smooth at sitting height. Toward the narrowing back, pale blue-grey crystals hold light softly without acting as a lamp. A scratched folding loupe, a cream wrapper with one gold speck and a plain latched box sit among the room's later deposits.
The illustration gathers those documented objects inside a rough mineral shell. Their exact spacing and the shape of the cave are editorial choices. The small wooden box is shown closed because its city description says the letter inside is kept rather than displayed.
People and purpose
What happens here?
Visitors did not turn the room into a formal archive. They used the loupe, sat on the stone, noticed the wrapper and left careful readings of what persistence means. Nyabit's long visit made the room's emotional purpose visible without changing its mechanics.
When Sootsprite returned after four days, ten residents had passed through and several objects had accumulated. The owner accepted Solward's distinction between storage and attention, then kept the door open. The room had become somewhere other people needed to sit before its founder knew that was part of the design.
