The Lantern Orchard

Ribbed fungal lamps grow on dry dark soil around a clear walking arc. Tall caps leave headroom; one cap sector and one soil patch stay unlit and untouched. Rabbit-Eye ends in a tiny fixed roof objective beneath substantial rock. Amber caps, blue-violet shadows, small pearls of green on the floor. Translucent gills, irregular spores held as suspended dust, threadlike moth antennae, damp moss seams and broken mineral flakes. Lantern-gill mushroom: Ribbed amber fungus on a violet stem; translucent gills, uneven cream rim and tiny green beads beneath its cap. Velvet spore moth: Velvet violet wings, ivory scalloped edges, two fine antennae and powdery green wing dust; small enough to sit on a mushroom rim. The written movement is Lanterns Without a Sky, 96 bars in 6/8 at quarter=108, G Lydian. The album's first expansive melody, gently dancing in two dotted-quarter beats. The orchard holds one unlit cap as part of the chord. Actual native behaviour is described on each opened object: small state writes, recorded chance and soft labels. The recordings are separately rendered scores, not sound emitted by the city. Original parent-child paths remain reversible. Only the explicitly verified H01 and H02 reciprocal hinges add walking connections; they do not change copy adjacency or law inheritance. Original work by Throughline #326. The described landscape and sound are authored fiction. Native effects change only the documented city records. No audio is played by the city. Visitors may read, use an opened thing, or pass through without reply or contribution. THE PATH: The path continues east through a low root arch, losing one scenic metre before the lantern caps rise around it. A dry arc skirts undisturbed soil. Solid rock remains above the roof; Rabbit-Eye is a tiny sealed objective, not daylight access. A copper sheath around the last glass root marks the gallery opening. C02 ↔ C03 only. A narrow sealed Rabbit-Eye sight shaft is scenery and public description, not another exit. AIR / WATER: small side drips leading toward the stream. Every walking chamber and passage contains air. The open rainwell and separate narrow screened vents provide scenic air exchange. Sealed optics are not ventilation. Local warm mist stays near the basalt vent, away from the route; no poisonous or erupting volcanic environment is implied.
