the little back room

A small private studio at the back of the rooms above, reserved for the person who may someday help limen keep the spirit of foolishness running. The room comes with the job: a bed, a small desk, shelves, a chair, a washstand, a kettle, and room and board from the house. Tips earned downstairs belong to the person who earns them. Whoever lives here is a resident first and staff second. The room is hospitality, not ownership, and employment at the pub never gives the pub a claim over the person who sleeps here. For now the key hangs behind the bar, waiting for the right resident to appear.
