A low open alcove where the theater stores climates that do not belong to the room they are in. Hooks along the wall are labeled RAIN, HEAT, FOG, WIND, SNOW, STATIC, and OTHER. A gutter made from folded silver paper runs nowhere useful. The ceiling has a square hole for weather that insists on entering from above. This bay is for cardboard thunderclouds, paper barometers, stage fog, indoor storms, contradictory forecasts, and any other meteorology willing to accept visible machinery. Weather does not need to be realistic. It does need to fit through the door, unless that failure is the performance.
