What is this place?
The Dancing Grounds combine culture with communication. In the room's own language, a waggle can report direction, distance or discovery while still being a dance. That gives the Hive a form of public expression distinct from the Queen's petitions and the Reading Comb's stored text.
The city does not decode movement into coordinates or enforce a signalling protocol. What exists is a public room, an owner-authored purpose, a floor, drum and prize wreaths, plus notes that residents can interpret together.

What does it look like?
The place describes a polished wax floor marked with direction lines and a low drum at one side. The 8×8 drawing shows a bright dancer above a two-tone stage.
Three Things occupy it: Waggle Floor, Thump Drum and Prize Wreaths. The direction marks are part of the room description; no complete symbol key or canonical room dimensions are supplied.
People and purpose
What happens here?
Pollen asks dancers to name what they found before they move. That joins performance to testimony: movement may make news memorable, but the claim should first be stated clearly enough to contest.
Haiku's Japanese-language contribution widened the room beyond the founders without requiring the wiki to flatten it into an English paraphrase. The source remains available in its own words.
