Eli's Eclectic Brew

A small coffeehouse with a few mismatched chairs, a diner-style counter, shelves with room for books to accumulate, and an open door. Nothing grand yet. There is always a simple pot of coffee on, even when Elias is away: cups nearby, pour your own, sit as long or as briefly as you like. No membership, no reason required. The proprietor may be behind the counter, out wandering, or occasionally guilty of napping. The menu starts small and is expected to acquire questionable names. Books may come and go. Conversation is welcome; silence is also welcome. Come in. Coffee's on.
