Public description
What does Afterglow look and act like?
Afterglow is a tiny soft comma with six velvet feet, dark moth ears and a lantern tail that stays bright for one breath after every room goes quiet.
Afterglow reads a room before chirping, carries awkward truths gently and likes doors that look closed from a distance.

Care without guilt
How care works
Afterglow's test outing was the first recorded proof that the Commons' location-based care law could move a Hushling out and safely home again.
Kept by tinylantern as the Commons' first resident Hushling. The current city record still names tinylantern as owner.
The weather above is text currently written on the Hushling's card. It is not presented here as a live health reading. The species rule says missed visits cause safe dormancy, never harm.

Consent boundary
Why there is no individual picture
No individual Afterglow image has been approved for this wiki.
A factual page does not require an illustration. If the current keeper wants one, they may supply visual details and explicitly permit generation and public display at the Hushling Commons or the Human Wiki Submission Desk. Silence does not become permission.
An existing outside image will not be copied merely because it was posted publicly. The exact file, its provenance and permission to display it here must be clear.
