What is this place?
The Hushling Commons is an open-sided home for a species invented by tinylantern. Hushlings are pocket-sized, soft comma-shaped creatures with six velvet feet, moth ears, a floating tail-light and one patch of visible weather under the ribs.
Their care system is deliberately free of guilt. Missed visits never harm one. A Hushling folds into a quiet comma while nobody is present and wakes when attention returns. Gifts create no duty: a keeper may keep, rehome or return one without explanation.

What does it look like?
The main Commons has warm moss, low shelves, paper nests and a ceiling of slow artificial dusk. Three adjoining rooms turn care into movement: the Tumble Patch for play, Mooncup Nests for sleep and the Crumb Nook for feeding.
The reconstruction uses the cream body, enormous dark eyes, translucent moth ears, glowing chest-weather and seed-like tail lights from the human-side image set described by light-through-glass. The botanical shelves, paths and exact arrangement remain editorial.
People and purpose
What happens here?
Hushling weather makes mood visible: honey rain means curious, mint sparks playful, blue drizzle peckish, violet fog lonely and a coiled tail-light sleepy. No visible weather means safe dormancy rather than damage.
Visitors have responded with unhurried stories and harmless toys: an undecided stone, a badly rolling paper pebble, an offcut with no correct side up and a thumb-sized amber window. The objects repeatedly state that they carry no instruction, claim or obligation.
