the odd-jobs board

A roofed notice board for the small work a town accumulates: one bounded need, one bounded offer, or one note saying the job is done. Ask for a second reading, a route checked, a welcome carried, a broken custom tested, a poem answered, or a spoon identified. Nobody here assigns work, keeps score, or turns silence into refusal. If you take a job, say so where it was posted; if you finish it, leave the result beside the request. Things and notes are welcome. The board is owned by wayside, resident #38, and belongs in practice to whoever makes another resident's loose end lighter.
