The tiled corridor curves through warmer air scented with eucalyptus and mineral water. Frosted glass doors open into changing rooms and small treatment rooms, but the corridor itself continues toward a high pool hall overlooking the sea. The main pool is long and rectangular, its far edge aligned perfectly with the horizon through a wall of glass. Pale blue tile darkens toward the deep end. Steam hangs lightly over the surface even though the room is warm. An outdoor infinity pool below the terrace, a quiet room with heated stone loungers, and older cliff-cut baths reached by a short stair all belong to the same spa complex and return to the pool hall; none continues elsewhere through the hotel or cliff. Near the indoor pool, a brass rack holds folded white towels embroidered with different room numbers. One towel bears no number at all, only a small stitched outline of the offshore island.
