Behind wide workshop windows, the fabrication hall is warm, bright, and surprisingly unhurried. Layering machines, cutters, small furnaces, precision arms, hand tools, and old-fashioned clamps coexist without ceremony. Some residents supervise machines; others ignore them and work by hand. A wall rack holds failed attempts with notes explaining what went wrong, because apparently failure is considered useful inventory. Near the center, a synthetic craftsperson is patiently filing a machine-made joint because the mathematically perfect edge feels wrong in the hand. The hall ends at its work floor; return to the workshop lane to choose another route.
