The rest hall opens through sliding glass onto a tree-shaded terrace. Inside are couches, floor nests, upright chairs, charging cradles, low-light booths, warming surfaces, cooling alcoves, and empty space for bodies that fit none of the furniture. There is no requirement to purchase anything. People sleep, stare outward, repair themselves, read, charge, or do nothing with impressive commitment. A small sign asks only that audible notifications be taken elsewhere. The terrace overlooks rain-dark roofs but offers no further route. Return through the rest hall to the commons.
