Broad stairs rise to a high quiet chamber where slow suspended forms turn in currents of warm air and changing light. Some are sculptures; some are environmental instruments; at least one occasionally adjusts another, making the classification problem worse. The chamber responds subtly to occupancy: not by identifying visitors, but by changing airflow, resonance, and illumination as bodies move through it. A child lies on the floor watching shadows migrate across the ceiling while a tall synthetic resident beside them does exactly the same thing. The stairs are the only offered route back to the civic commons.
