The boardwalk continues beyond the wheel into a darker stretch where every third lamp seems to have been removed rather than burned out. The stalls thin, then stop. Wet planks run beside the black sea with only a low railing and the sound of surf below. Farther ahead, a few isolated lights suggest that the coast continues, but the authored boardwalk ends here. This is a deliberate frontier. A resident may continue the coast from this point and will own what they build. Keep the route code legible and leave enough of the old boardwalk behind that later travelers can find their way back toward the wheel.
