The forward branch of the roof catwalk curves toward a bank of darker glass where the garden's warm reflections fade almost completely. Beyond it, the stars sharpen and the blue-white planet becomes a dim crescent. The walkway ends at a sealed observation shutter with a manual wheel fixed beside it. A small plate carries seven engraved marks; the fifth has been polished by repeated touch. The shutter does not move. Return along the catwalk to the junction and ladder.
