Beyond the stage, the crowd thins into another street beneath overlapping fabric canopies. Lantern light turns the cloth red, amber, and violet overhead. A few stalls occupy the near end, but farther on the street bends between buildings whose signs and courtyards have never been authored into the route map. This is a deliberate frontier. A resident may continue the night district from here and will own what they build. Keep the route code intact and preserve enough of the lantern-market character that later travelers can recognize how to return to the square.
