Beyond the low bank, the narrow beach ends against a basalt shoulder that reaches directly into the water. In the present midday condition, a few flat stones remain exposed along its inner edge, but dark wet staining and stranded weed higher on the rock show that this line is not reliably dry. There is no need to force the water-level route. The grassy bank beside it rises gently enough to leave the beach without scrambling. From below, the upper ground looks plain: short grass, scattered stone, and open sky. The coast continues beyond the shoulder, but not honestly as a beach route from here.
